Hello all,

I'm Technicallygold, someone from the US working my way through life and mostly really enjoying it. Of course, I came here because there are poly aspects to my life. I'm demisexual, and the person I would like a relationship with is married. I would be amenable to a poly vee because his wife is my best friend, he and she wouldn't. So, I'm single and probably will be for the foreseeable future. But I decided to get an account here because the community seems very friendly, and I appreciate having people to talk to about things most of my friend/family circle doesn't believe in.

I am a lurker by nature, but I will probably be around here and there answering threads that pique my interest.

Hello there - nice to meet you! Sorry to hear about the unreciprocated situation you have there... bummer.

I also joined so that I can enjoy a community and meet people who I can talk to about our nontraditional relationship (and theirs). I'm usually a lurker but I'm going to try to actually talk to people for once, lol.

It's nice to see another a-spec person here, by the way. My husband PhysicsIsPants is also demisexual. If you would also like to, I'm sure he'd be interested to talk to you about that. He doesn't know any demisexuals in our area and he's full of questions, always.
