Hello from the Country

Hey everyone! I just wanted to stop in and give a little info about myself. My name is Keith and I’m new-ish to the poly community. I live in a very small country town in Florida, so delving more into the poly community has been a struggle. My previous relationship was a 3 year poly relationship. It was a natural shift for my then partner and I to transition from monogamy to polyamory. So organic, in fact, that I chose to continue with a poly lifestyle. While that makes me happier than I could possibly imagine, the country area I’m in is not as accepting as I would hope. That’s why I’m here, honestly. I would love to know what it’s like to have others to chat with that have been through what I’m going through or actually understand the obstacles that I face. Maybe I’ll be able to help someone through their problems as well. After all, that’s what community is for!

Yes, we help each other here, you will certainly meet people with similar situations and you can help them and they can help you. I was lucky in that polyamory introduced itself to me, and now I am in a V. I think it would be hard to find anyone else poly whom I could date, and I live in a big city. If you have any questions, let me know!
