Hello from the Zi Family!

Well hello there all you beautiful poly internet peeps. :D

My name is Carson and I'm writing to introduce my family and I since there is a pretty good chance we will be coming here in the future for some advice. We've been perusing the forum for a while but have yet to introduce ourselves and figured it was probably time for us to make our trademark awkward entrance.

There is an extreme amount of background to explain how we arrived at this moment in time, but I think I'm going to let that sort of come out on it's own and instead try to keep this post concise for once (I am NOT known for my brevity :p).

We are:
Carson, 33yr old male, poly from birth
Deanna, 33yr old female, poly and bi-curious
Amrita, 4.5yr old daughter
Akasha, 2.5yr old daughter

Neither of us are currently in any other serious relationships although both of us are enjoying the poly dating scene in our area.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and learning more about ourselves together as we traverse our way across this rugged yet magical terrain.

Love,
Carson :D

Greetings Carson,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I'm thinking you might enjoy our Life stories and blogs board, it is the perfect place for telling your story in detail if you feel so inclined.

For relationship advice, Poly Relationships Corner is your go-to board.

Lots of good stuff to read and post on Polyamory.com, have a look around and see what calls to you.

Sounds like you guys are keeping busy! ;)

Let us know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome! You should consider having your partner create a separate account, so there is no confusion about who is posting. :)

Thanks for the welcome. :)

Bluebird: my wife won't be writing under this name. She will often read what Ive written before I post it, especially if I'm talking "we's" and "us's," but if she wants to post her own questions she will definitely create her own username. I'll mention to her that if she does, that she should combine her introduction with this one to save confusion.

Love,
Carson

Heh, I like that idea.
