I am a 43-year-old man in California. I'm trying to make a go of my first serious poly relationship and am coming here looking for help and advice.

I read your longer thread explaining your situation, and responded to it there. Feel free to check that out, and I hope it will help. I noticed a couple of other people also gave some good perspectives for you to consider.

I think that you are in a period of transition, so you have some decisions to make that are unlike any you've made in the past. Take your time to think it over, and tap into the collective experience and wisdom of this website. You'll get there.
