Both times ended due to cheating. When we discussed it for a third time we decided to be open and it has worked quite well for us.

When I was first questioning if I were poly or not, I found a lot of sources saying that people who have cheated more than once are most likely poly, but either confused or in denial, so I think this is a great solution! I hope you are happy in your non-monogamous relationship!
