Help in Delaware

Hi, my name is Paul, I live in Delaware and I am having a difficult time meeting any Poly friendly people near me. If you live in Delaware, please give me a shout out here.

Hello and welcome! One way to meet other poly people is to join a local poly group. If you go to meetup.com and search for poly (or open or alterative sexualities), you may find several groups. Also, I belong to a meetup group that serves MD/VA/DC/PA and DE areas, it's called BMore Poly and has events frequently. Admittedly most of the events are not in DE but you may find some.

There are various sources for finding poly-friendly people; here are some:

It can even help to google "Delaware polyamory" or "polyamory" with the name of a nearby major city.

Even if it's not an "alternative" type group, if there's a club or something in your area that does something you're interested in, you can always join that group and it just gives you a way to get out there and meet people. If you meet someone on a platonic level and get to talking about poly, then they can decide how they feel about it without any "pressure to agree." Then if they do decide poly doesn't bother them too much, and some kind of romantic connection subsequently develops, you'll already have "had the poly conversation" with them.
