Hi all,

My name is Alex, I am 38 years old, married and am living in Cambridge (UK). I and my wife are in the process of opening up our relationship. We have been working on it for the last few months. It is not a joyride but our relationship seems to have became stronger and deeper. I am here to read and discuss about polyamory with like minded people.

So how did you guys get into the poly thing?
 
To cut a long story. We have been exploring our bisexual sides. Initially it was sex only, then feelings kicked in. All of these with massive arguments, me looking for a flat and few risks of divorce. But now we are happy :)

It's good to have you onboard.

As you see, we're fairly well populated with folks from the U.K. ... and of course from the U.S. ... and many from Canada too (plus Austrailia, and, really here and there all over the world).

Don't know if you've heard of the following book:
"Opening Up" by Tristan Taormino
It's a great read and really lays out the basics anyone opening up their relationship should know. The website alone is worth a peek!

There's sooo much learning to be had about polyamory on this site. Check out the various threads and boards and see what calls to you. Read, lurk, post, read, lurk, post some more ... rinse/repeat. It's a great way to expose yourself to a wide range of poly viewpoints, as well as a great way to make new friends from far and wide.
