Hi. I've been with my wife for ten years or so now (though actually married for much less) and we're sort of new to this. Right now we're just sort of feeling around I guess you could say. But we're interested and looking to learn from other people's experience and advice. (Jumping into anything blind strikes both of us as a monstrously idiotic endeavor.)

What to know about me? Us? We're nerds. Massive, geeky, funny shaped dice and plastic figurine owning nerds. With cats! Though only two. Also, we live in Michigan.

And finally, yes, I do know I spelled my name wrong. Filling everything out on my phone and only giving it a cursory glance as proofreading may have been a mistake. Ah well. C'est la vive.

I think the mods can adjust your username for you. They're listed at http://www.polyamory.com/forum/showgroups.php ... and there's technically no hurry, they can do it anytime.

Small world, I lived in Michigan for like 18½ years.

You're wise to set out to do your homework, there is a lot to learn about poly, and I think Polyamory.com is a good place to start. Visit our various threads/boards and let us know what questions you have along the way.

Hi there! I am new to the site (and polyamory), too. But I wanted to say that you and your wife sound like awesome people that my partner and I would hang out with if we lived closer. We are also hopeless, cat-loving nerds. =)
