Hello everyone, I’m Seb.

I’ve been in a loving and stable relationship with my partner for almost four years now. We are very happy and we have perfect trust to one another.

The problem is that someone I used to know and did have some kind of online relationship showed up again in my life. He helped me through a difficult time a few years back, I have feelings for him. At the same time , leaving my partner is out of question.

I don’t know what to do. I think I am just being selfish, I should stop texting the other guy. But his texts excite me in so many ways. I feel like I cheating my partner, I told him everything of course. So. Complicated.

Greetings Seb,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

Polyamory is always a possibility, if that's something your partner would be interested in. You mentioned that you told him everything. How does he feel about what he knows so far? Maybe he would be open to something totally new and different. Could polyamory be right for you? Read Poly FAQ, and let us know if you have any questions.

With regards,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

He is great

He told me that he wants for me only happiness, so if that’s what I want, he is open to an open relationship. We decided to come back to this subject later. So I am here , learning

Hi Seb,

Sounds like you have an awesome partner. :D It sounds like you're in the process of negotiating a possible transition from mono to open. You are going to come back to the subject, and you are here to learn. You can learn a lot about poly on this forum, try in particular Master Thread - links to other threads worth reading. Read the threads that call to you, and let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,
Kevin T.
