First post to this forum. I've been looking for an active polyamory forum to frequent. I found many that were not so but this one is and it's a good one. I can tell. There were posts today.
What can I say about myself? I am a woman. Married 11 years. My husband and I were initially monogamous but a situation developed with a close friend and that caused us to adapt and change which encompassed a poly lifestyle. That unfortunately ended, as things do.
Since that time, we've identified ourselves as potential poly and are open to finding the right, er, appropriate, uhm, ideal? Proper? Someone we both like and want to be part of our relationship. Let's just go with that.
Until then, I would like to chat with like minded people! So very hard to find. Few and far between. I've read Ethical Slut and More than Two, which helps. Mainly I would like to be part of a community.
What else can I add? Hmm... I am huge geek/nerd. I play videogames and read lots and lots of sci-fi and fantasy. I am not TV watcher. I read a lot. Music is vital to me. I am learning to play acoustic guitar. Would love to have a dog one day. Maybe a plant. I'll probably try the plant first, you know. Just to be safe.
