So hi to everyone in the group. Recently moved from FL to TN for work and had to leave our happy poly partner behind. We don't know anyone here really, and it's been terribly lonely. We've basically become shut-ins and it's driving us crazy. So we decided today to branch out and rediscover new communities.
So about Chris, he's been poly most of his life. We were married 15 years ago, and while I knew he often dated and lived with multiple women together, I didn't know much about the life, he was 100% faithful to me. He didn't date, or even try.
A few years back, I told him that I was intrigued by the idea of adding another to our relationship, being a little bi myself, I've always like women. Also a bit of a voyeur as well, and enjoy seeing him with others. That's another topic. ANYHOW! I told him I'd like to try to have a threesome, and it was amazing! But I hated the idea of random relationships. I don't enjoy meaningless hookups. So we found our gf, who lived with us and was part of our lives. She was our best friend, our lover and an equal partner in all things. And when we moved up to TN, we wanted so much for her to come, but she ran a very successful business, and could not leave. So we parted ways. Since then it's been very lonely.
I'm terribly worried that was a once in a lifetime experience, and that we'll never find someone that perfect again. I hope that I'm wrong, but if we don't put ourselves out there, we are guaranteed to never meet anyone.
