Hello, I am a 23-year-old queer non-binary person living on the east coast of the United States. I recently came out to myself as polyamorous after years of denial. I am in a monogamous relationship at the moment. My partner is monogamous. I recently came out to him with some failure. I'm not sure where our relationship will be heading now.
I'm really happy to have been able to find a place where I can openly be myself. Thank you for having me!

Welcome, Petitefemme! Sorry to hear you’re going through a tough situation in your current relationship. :(

Hi Petitefemme - and welcome to the Forum! We have lots of experienced poly folks here who are generally friendly and helpful with lots of good advice and information - so please don't hesitate to post any specific questions and thoughts that you may have to the Poly Relationships Corner or General Poly Discussion sections. Both of these sections are quite active and you are almost certain to receive some helpful responses. Best of luck on your unfolding poly journey. Al

Thank you! Right now I'm doing my best to hang in there. It's really hard right now. I told him and he took it horribly. I think--or rather I know we're going to break up. It hurts but I know I'm going to be okay. It will take time though.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy to be here and I look forward to learning from others as well as having experiences of my own.

Greetings PetiteFemme,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

It sounds like you are on a turning point in your life, things are changing, some changes are exciting, other changes are hard to bear. I hope Polyamory.com can help you get through some of the rough stuff, you need someone to talk to when the chips are down. We're here to help, even if it's just moral support and a listening ear.

I'm glad that you're here.
Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Hello PetiteFemme,

I am a Genderfluid female myself and new to the forum. It was nice to see someone else also identifying as non-binary. I have just started coming out to close friends, and truly to myself, as being poly. Give yourself time and be true to yourself going forward about what to do. Thanks for posting!
