My name's Em!

My (ex)girlfriend's always been really open to polyamory, but I've always felt quite monogamous. We've recently gone on a break for a while, and in that time I ended up falling for someone else. As well as that, she's found herself exploring her needs with other people. Though we're both happy with this, we also want to be back together - so here comes both of our first polyamorous relationship! A little nervous, but also really optimistic that we can find happiness with each other as well as in exploring other relationships.

Polyamorous relationships are generally considered to exist with the knowledge and consent of all involved - so please do consider the importance of making sure that your (you and your girlfriend's) other partners are aware that you are self identifying as poly and have other relationships as well. Both my (ex)girlfriend and the guy I'm seeing are aware of the situation and are pretty comfortable with it. (It's something very new for all three of us so we're still coming to terms with it but trying to have as much fun with it as possible).
 
Sounds like a pretty positive situation so far.
