Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

4:43 p.m., Tuesday the 31st

For dinner yesterday, Snowbunny heated up the leftover pulled pork from out of the freezer, we had that on some leftover buns. Also she baked some sweet potato fries for us. We are doing leftovers tonight, as one of the dogs, Ginger I think, has a Rally class tonight. Brother-Husband will probably take the other dog, Eddie I think, on a walk. I don't know whether we'll have dinner before or after the class, Snowbunny says it depends on whether things go relatively smoothly with her work (for the credit union).

2:50 p.m., Wednesday the 1st

We ate after they got back, I had the last of the lentil soup, plus the rest of SB's Thai dish that she had ordered (as it gave her stomach problems). BH and SB had leftover pulled pork, plus pasta with sauce. Today, Eddie is at the groomers, SB will pick him up from there in a few hours. I gave Ginger a treat, some kind of rolled rawhide or the like. She was looking for a place to hide it for a while.

3:42 p.m., Thursday the 2nd

For dinner last night we had salad, plus some kind of Mexicany thing, like a big soft taco with refried beans, cheese, and some of the leftover pulled pork. At this time, SB and the dogs are on their way to Las Cruces, for a Barn Hunt trial, they will be gone until Sunday evening. I expect that Easter will be a low-key affair, which works out fine for me because I'm not really big on celebrating the holidays. In the meantime, SB got me some port, and I am enjoying it even as we speak.

2:47 p.m., Friday the 3rd

BH and I had microwave burritos for dinner last night. Later, we watched one Justified episode, afterwhich BH watched a hockey game, and I turned in. Not sure what all's the plan for tonight, but it does sound like we'll watch multiple Justified episodes.

12:51 p.m., Saturday the 4th

We had TV dinners last night. After dinner, we watched two Justified episodes. It's quite a good series so far, I would recommend it to just about anyone. It does have some violence, it is "intended for mature audiences." But I don't think it's overdone.

2:05 p.m., Sunday the 5th

Last night BH made us a freezer-to-stovetop dinner, it had chicken, veggies, pasta, and a cream sauce. After dinner we watched a movie, "Blink Twice." It was a real mind-bender, with a surprise ending. After the movie, BH watched a hockey game; I turned in.

I expect SB and the dogs to arrive home today, hopefully they'll have safe travels, I don't know if they'll get here late. I think BH is in his "man cave," working on a painting. But I don't know that for sure.

2:30 p.m., Monday the 6th

SB and the dogs got home safe and sound, they arrived here yesterday at perhaps 6:10 p.m.

After they got home, BH went to pick up takeout for us from Church's Chicken. It being a work night, and SB having a lot to do to wind down from the trip, unpacking and giving the dogs a bath, we didn't watch anything on TV.

2:44 p.m., Tuesday the 7th

SB made us fish last night, tilapia, plus seasoned oven-baked sweet potato slices, plus corn. The fish had breading, which it turned out SB didn't like. Too dry. She said she was glad it wasn't her favorite kind of fish, and that Stan wasn't over. After dinner, SB and I went grocery shopping, something I always enjoy.

1:25 p.m., Wednesday the 8th

We had Polish sausage last night, with carrots and sauerkraut. Tonight I think we're having pasta and leftover fish. We do also have an appointment to get our taxes done. I was hoping we would eat out after that, but apparently that's not meant to be. I am feeling rather bummed, also anxious, and it might not be because of the taxes/eating out thing, I don't know.

4:41 p.m., Thursday the 9th

A slight change of plans, we just had the pasta, with (meatless?) meat crumbles, no fish. Last I heard, the plan for tonight is fish plus corn and lima beans. This could change. I think we're also having some potatoes.

3:32 p.m., Friday the 10th

The potatoes were actually used to make fish patties; the fish patties had potatoes, celery, onions, and eggs I think. I thought they were quite good. Today SB will take me to get a haircut; tomorrow we will probably go with Stan on a "local road trip."

7:26 a.m., Saturday the 11th

After the haircut, we walked over to the Kelly Liquors nextdoor. We each got one thing, SB got some kind of a creamy thing I think, I got a Yukon Jack Perma Frost. After that, we walked over to L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, which was also nextdoor. As much as I like takeout, I have to say I didn't love what I got. Breaded fish and shrimp, with sides of macaroni salad (which was okay) and rice with nothing on it. Meh. I should have ordered their barbecue cheeseburger, with fries. Oh well, maybe next time.

1:38 p.m., Sunday the 12th

We had a good time yesterday, we visited a number of thrift stores and estate sales, we ate lunch at Slim Chickens, SB and I had chicken wraps, they were good. We dropped Stan off at his house, then a bit later he drove over to our house for dinner and a visit. We watched various Neil Diamond videos, had tacos for dinner, then watched a photo presentation SB had put together for her mom's 80th birthday. After Stan went home, BH and I watched a Justified episode. All in all an enjoyable day. Today is more low key, I don't know what we'll have for dinner, or whether we'll watch anything.

1:02 p.m., Monday the 13th

SB made us salads, with a rotisserie chicken she got from the store. Also she made us blondie brownies for dessert. After dinner, BH and I watched another Justified episode. It was really good, I highly recommend the series.

2:50 p.m., Tuesday the 14th

Last night SB made us turkeyburgers, also she cut up an avacado for us, and heated up some baked beans. We didn't watch anything, as BH had a hockey game to watch. Tonight one of the dogs (Eddie I think) has Rally class, my guess is we'll have dinner after they get back. Not much else to tell you at this time.

12:35 p.m., Wednesday the 15th

As SB had put the extra time and effort into taking Eddie to Rally class, she just heated up microwave burritos for us. Not a terribly exciting dinner, but not terrible either. I assume tonight we'll have something a bit more fancy, but we'll see. That's all I can think of to tell you for the moment.

12:39 p.m., Thursday the 16th

SB made veggie burgers for us, plus lentil soup. There is leftover soup, and we might have it tonight. BH has a doctor appointment at 4:00 p.m., and I guess SB is going to meet him there. Other than that, things are pretty uneventful.

2:38 p.m., Friday the 17th

It seems that BH and SB disagree about yesterday's doctor appointment. SB told me his labs indicate low testosterone levels, but he doesn't trust those results, and suspects the doctor of just wanting to make money. Tomorrow, BH and SB might go out together, so that they can discuss it more in private. I can understand that.

We didn't have the lentil soup last night, but I figure we'll have it soon. It is in the fridge right now, SB did not freeze it. What we had last night was seasoned chicken and onion slices from the slow cooker, plus brown rice and broccoli.

1:40 p.m., Saturday the 18th

Last night for dinner we had pizza and salad from Mario's, which is just a few blocks away. We did not watch anything, as BH and SB had to get up early today. Their plan was to visit a certain garden nursery, which gets quite crowded later in the day, so they wanted to get there when it opened. With all the plants they're likely to get, the car will be too crowded for three people, so that's why I stayed home. As compensation, SB said she'd get me some drinky-drink.

12:13 p.m., Sunday the 19th

BH and SB got back home at around 3:00 p.m., afterwhich Stan came over for dinner and a visit. For dinner SB made us a pot roast with onions, carrots, and potatoes, in the slow cooker. Also we had some of that leftover lentil soup. After dinner, BH and I watched two Justified episodes. Then BH watched a hockey game. That was the end of a good day. SB got me some DeKuyper Hot Damn! I'm having some right now. BH and SB are out running errands or something.
