Level 1 Poly Couple

Hi everyone, our names are Dan and Maus, and we're new to the poly scene. We've had one shared girlfriend in the past, but that's about it. We've been together for eight years, married for three (coming up on the fourth this year). We dated online for two years, met, moved in together, were engaged for a year, and then hitched. It's been a lot of fun! We're both college graduates who are currently working their first "big people jobs". Dan has a Masters in English, while Maus has a Bachelors in Professional and Technical Editing; though, we both work in an office. The same one at that!

Hobby wise, we're pretty much as geeky as they come, enjoying all manner of fantasy/sci-fi/horror media. We especially enjoy tabletop rpgs and board games. We also play video games, read comics (of the paper and web variety), enjoy anime, love movie nights, and Netflix series binging. Oh, and we're both YouTubers as well. We also run a charity event, this year will be our fifth year and running! We're very relaxed people with big hearts who enjoy the company of friends over a raving night at the club.

What we're hoping to get out of this site is to meet people, get involved in the community, and generally get advice from those of you who are more experienced than us. It's nice to meet you all, and we hope to have a positive experience here.

Greetings Dan and Maus,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

You sound like an enjoyable, upbeat couple. I used to greatly enjoy D&D back in the day, so I can relate to that part of your interests. I am nostalgic about video games. Does anyone miss the old Atari console Adventure game as much as I do? I'm not sure it's possible.

Make yourself at home here and explore our various threads and boards. See what calls to you. Let us know of any questions you have. In no time you'll be meeting people and making new friends, as well as receiving advice and all that good stuff.

Glad to have you with us!
Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!
