Looking for poly meetups/groups in the Triad of North Carolina.

Hey guys, me and my nesting partner have been together and happily polyamorous in Triad NC for a little over 5 years now.

While things have been great for us, we've struggled to find like-minded individuals in our more rural and conservative town. We've tried many dating apps and websites, such as FetLife, in attempts to find more polyamorous individuals but with very little luck.

We were wondering if there were any regular polyamorous meetups or support groups that happen regularly in the area where we could potentially meet up with other people that share the lifestyle to make like-minded friends, or more should the opportunity arise.

I had to look up what you meant by "triad" in this case, since that term is often used by couples new to polyamory.

The "Triad" in North Carolina refers to the region encompassing the cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point.

Yeah I can understand the confusion. Triad is just the region of NC me and my partner live in. We're more of a kitchen table polyamory ourselves.

My best suggestion is to google "polyamory" and the names of your closest cities, and see what pops up.

There are also FB groups pertaining to local areas all over.

Sorry if ya don’t have any groups over there, NC is still not the best poly place. The Triangle by Raleigh has a group, but still not the most active. Try checking Meet Up also, that’s where I found them.
