Moving from Arizona to Indiana

Looking to, possibly, move from Arizona to the Indianapolis area next year. Just wanted to say hi and see who else is in the area

I hope you have a successful move and enjoy your new home. Can I ask, what made you choose Indianapolis? I don't know anyone from that area, although I did live in Michigan for about twenty years.

Mainly, I need somewhere the summers aren't so damn unbearable. Also, there are a couple jobs there I could get into easy because I've worked for the company here. Also, we have some friends there. There are a lot of other pluses but those are the high points
 
I lived in Indy for a few years, over a decade ago. There was a decent sized nonmonogamous crowd that i can only imagine has grown. The overlap between the swinger and poly folks was significant. Overall I really enjoyed it, other than it being Indiana lol

Summers get really humid. Don't underestimate the misery of humidity. 😅 I'm much happier with my PNW weather!
 
Michigan is another state that gets very humid during the summer. Usually less than a hundred degrees, but ...

I've heard that Phoenix gets pretty freakin' bad during the summer. Sure it's a dry heat but, well over a hundred ...
 
Phoenix is ridiculous in the summer. 54 days over 110 this year and almost no measurable rain since the very beginning of the year. Just gotta get outta here for a new start

Having (unfortunately) moved from Indianapolis to Texas a few years ago, I’m very excited for you. Indianapolis is a wonderful city. So much to do and so much to see. Also generally nice people. Have fun!
