OGIHR

The name I use is OGIHR (shorthand for Oh God Its Him Run, but pronounced the same as D&D's "ogre"), and I am a writer.
I do not date, at all. There are reasons, which I prefer not to dredge up. So I am specifically not looking for a relationship or a hookup or anything of the sort.
Instead, I put my heart into creating interesting stories. My current project is a reinterpretation of Norse Mythology through rather a science fiction lens, with significant cultural elements of my otherworldly setting being based on my studies of both the mythic sagas and the real-world culture of the ancient Norse.
As a result, the historical culture's attitudes regarding polygyny (and some other sexist double-standards which I don't really approve of in real life) are reflected in my story, and my main cast of characters centers on a four-person romantic group. If it matters, three women who all knowingly propose marriage to the same man (per the culture norms of my story's fantastical world), with the stipulation that they are married to each other as well. ...Because the form of polygamy where multiple wives each have their own bedroom and the singular husband rotates between them just creeps me out. My personal reaction; if it works for you, don't let me stand in your way.
And in case anyone is afraid that I'm having a biased view regarding male vs female homosexuality, I am using the version of Odin who partook in ritual acts of a homosexual nature in the pursuit of his sorcerous practice. So I do intend all sides of the menu to be given a fair showing, to the best of my ability.
However, my own real-world life leaves me with little insight and understanding to help me write these characters in an authentic manner. So I have joined this forum seeking that insight and understanding from those of you who might wish to enlighten me.
I shall await your responses; ideally including some directions as to which section of the forum would be most appropriate for further conversation on the matter.
Thank you for your consideration
