Hey all!
Stumbled across this forum and decided to give it a try. I am 33, male, recently divorced and after a lot of thought and looking into it, I am deciding to try poly/open relationships. It definitely seems more fitting and practical.

Look forward to chatting with everyone!

Cheers

Greetings MR603,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I think it's awesome that you have found that open/poly is right for you. There is a lot you can learn about it, so have a look around on our various threads and boards, see what calls to you, and post any questions you have along the way. Namaste!

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Hi MR603 and welcome to the Forum! We will look forward to hearing your story as it develops. We have a good number of experienced poly folks here on the forum so please feel free to post any questions and thoughts that you may have.

There are several good books available on the various aspects of poly but several of us believe that Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships by Tristan Taormino to be the best general introduction to polyamory. (Available in hard copy or digital from Amazon et al.)

Also, here is is a link to a list of several of the best poly web sites:

Again, welcome!

Hey, MR603, I don’t know if you Facebook, but I’ve found the New England Poly group there to be a terrific resource.

Cheers,
