New To Poly

I'm 29. Currently living on the east coast but will be relocating back home this summer. Married for 8 years, with husband for 10. We have had our difficulties and bumps in the road but now have a strong relationship. He is my best friend. I identify more as poly, always have but just recently learned the term after a friend suggested I read Open. He is more about just an open relationship. I believe everything should have emotion behind it whether it be friendships, sex, relationships, etc. I joined here to learn more about the world of poly and get some guidance and advice along the way. I have two children and will be going back to school next fall to become a high school teacher. I will be moving back to a semi closed minded community and will need to keep my relationship status private for the sake of my children and my future job. I do not like this fact, but it is the world we live in. Currently neither my husband, nor myself, have any other relationships besides each other. We are currently in the talking and exploring faze.
