I'm questioning and like, don't know. I'm attracted to someone other than my girlfriend, but unlike my girlfriend I couldn't really see myself spending my life with them but I definitely feel I would be comfortable dating them but I'm scared to tell my girlfriend about these feelings I don't even know

I hope you'll build up the courage to tell your girlfriend about your feelings. Maybe getting more familiar with open/poly will help you get to that point. You can certainly get more familiar with it by participating on Polyamory.com, I hope you'll post more here.

I understands your fears. It took me a LONG time and a lot of struggle to figure out how to talk to my husband and then it was struggling after that to adjust to the process.

It won't be easy, but it was worth it.
 
OP, most relationships don't last a lifetime any longer. We have to enjoy them and make the best of them that we can, but not avoid them because they may end. This is true whether you're monogamous or poly, IMO. You need to decide if this is something you want to pursue - even hypothetically or in the future - and then decide if you need to discuss this with your girlfriend. If you have long term intentions with her, then she should know this, if you think you may want to explore it.
