What I found interesting today rereading it is the parsing of word’s coercion and consent. AND THAT I just mentioned Marcus in another thread recently

In many of these poly bomb or affair convert to poly situations choice is about trying to pick the least shitty. I know for certain it the case presented in the link ice felt trapped by his situation and divorce laws in his state. I think they had 2-3 kids and pretty sure he was waiting out the last one leaving the nest to exercise his choice.
If memory serves there was a later incident that really tipped it in for him and that time table might have got moved up dramatically. Not many people come back to give updates which is a shame.
