It sounds like your wife had some form of dementia, perhaps Alzheimer's, in addition to a personality disorder. Apparently the dementia has receded, but the personality disorder seems to have persisted, and perhaps morphed into new forms of inappropriate behavior. I'm sorry you are going through this.
