Talk me down off the edge please...

I'm ok now, I think. Bud has told me he loves Sweet Lady, he has told her privately but last night I actually heard it come out of his mouth for the 1st time. It evoked a huge flight or fight response in me and set me off bawling my eyes out. Took me completely by surprise to react that way.
 
Sounds like you were able to weather the worst of it. Hope you'll let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

You are right. I agree that it is beautiful. I have no idea what made me respond that way. Especially since I'm not bothered by it. I'm very happy for both of them and for myself. He couldn't have picked a kinder, more loving woman to bring into our family. We're incredibly lucky to have her.

All I can figure is that I'm either PMSing and emotions were off. Or I have a harder time with anything emotion related during this time of year anyway. August is the month my son was born that I placed for adoption. So I have a harder time with any outside source of emotions, good and bad. My brain tends to go into over load in August.
