Testing the Waters

Hi there! New to accepting my polyamory, relatively freshly single. My situation is complicated, but a full storytime might need to wait for another post on another thread. Trying to find a community that will help me solidify myself and vouch for what I need going forward.

My history with forums is bumpy. I may post a lot at first then ghost a few months then lurk with infrequent replying. Or these may happen in any order. But I'm putting myself out there eager to learn, eager to meet, eager to just be.

EDIT: Come to think of it, where WOULD be the best place to discuss my situation? I see them all over.

Greetings SenatorBinks27,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I am thinking the best place to discuss your situation, is, Poly Relationships Corner. It would be the best place for you to get personal feedback. General Poly Discussions is more for philosophical chats; Life stories and blogs is more for if you want to tell your story, but don't necessarily want feedback. So go with Poly Relationships Corner, that would be my suggestion.

I'm glad you could join us, you should definitely get the help you need here. I have read and enjoyed your posts so far.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Thank you! I'll write my novel when I get home from an event I'm going to. Honestly I want to comment on every incredible story I've read but don't feel like I have anything meaningful to add.

I sometimes feel that way too ... I have to really dig, to think of anything to post that might be helpful. I used to post a lot more ... not sure what changed. In any case, I'm sure you'll do fine here, just post whenever you have something to say.

Testing new signature. Really love the standard keys and can't wait to add (well within reason of course). Wish it retroactively added.

So far so good! :D I'm not sure if there's any way to add the sig to previous posts, the mods/admins might know.
