Um hello so never done this but wanting a female companion for my husband and I. 28-38 no drugs and sense of humor. Don't really know where to go from here but I guess looking for a response

Welcome to the forums. I'm relatively new to poly myself but I've found the advice of the more senior members on this forum to be insightful and useful.

One thing I've noticed in my short time here is that unicorn hunting seems to be frowned upon. I haven't really been looking this up because it's not the aspect of polyamory that interests me, but here's a link someone previously posted that explains why experienced polyamorists tend to look down on this kind of actvity. I think they find it unethical. Not sure. I haven't read the whole article myself.

If you're looking for a female companion for just your husband, I don't think you would call that a unicorn. A unicorn would be involved sexually with you as well and be expected to do a lot of household chores in return for sexual favours. You may have misspoke when you said you wanted a unicorn, not realising that's what it entails.

I hope you find what you want on polyamory.com. I've certainly found it an eye-opener myself.

If I was single, I'd probably go for something like this, but heck no, I wouldn't do THEIR chores for sex lol. It would all have to be completely equal and everyone loving & respecting each other the same.
 
This is more a discussion forum than a dating site, though there is a section here you can try.

The term "unicorn hunter" is often used in a derogatory manner, but there is nothing specifically unethical about triads as long as you avoid the pitfalls. You will find this site has a wealth of information regarding the subject.
