You can look up that term on this board for evidence. It's best to date separately. You, a man in his 40s, and your wife, a bisexual woman in her 20s, are definitely going to be seeking different qualities in a dating partner. Threeway sex is rarely practiced in polyamory.

The best way is dependent on your flexibility and means. If money and flexibility are no problem, I'd say pack-up and move to Portland or someplace where there is a thriving poly community. The next best thing is to go fishing in those communities remotely in the hope of finding someone who might come to you. In the meantime be open to whatever possibilities happen to be in your area. Check out the links suggested by our other members too, but be careful. There are a lot of bad actors and fake profilers out there.
