Now, I’m less of a fan of Buzzfeed’s listacle aggregations of other websites’ content masquerading as “journalism” than most, so don’t shoot the messenger.

Buzzfeed’s pretty big platform, so this article might be the most exposure to real life poly stuff a lot of people ever see without knowing someone in the lifestyle personally. Admittedly I didn’t read the entire thing because it’s just a bunch of people telling stories on Reddit (caveat emptor), so the validity of any of these anecdotes is unobtainable, but I still felt like it gave a decent overview of a lot of different people’s experiencing - good, bad, or otherwise.

We had quite a heated discussion, in 2014, about whether poly is good for the kids. It is worth mentioning here. I guess the main takeaway is that just because the parents are excited about poly, doesn't mean their kids feel the same way.
