Dating sites?

Hi Everyone! I came across a site that is new to me, however I don't seem to understand how to navigate it. 🫣
Has anyone tried FindPoly.com? It seems to have some great educational content, but I don't see where to sign up or how to find people. I've tried on my iPhone and on the computer... send help! LOL

I also saw in another thread that Tinder now has "polyamory" as an option... yet my account was banned for mentioning polyamory in my Bio.... has anyone that has had the same issue have their account restored? I cannot get a live person to respond.

Hello IconistHolly,

I am not familiar with FindPoly.com, and I have not used Tinder so I don't know how they do things. Most of my experience has been with PolyMatchMaker and OKCupid, and I didn't have much luck with either. Nowadays I just let things happen in the wild on their own, and truthfully I'm not currently very interested in meeting anyone new. Too much hassle.

I hope you have better luck with your online endeavors.
Sincerely,
Kevin T.

Maybe findpoly is kaput. I haven't heard anyone here mentioning having used it.
That sucks that Tinder banned you for mentioning polyamory even though they offer it as an option! Hopefully someone here will be able to help with that.
It seems that most poly folk are trying Feeld these days to look for dating partners.

I like Feeld the best right now. OKC is second. But I haven't tried FindPoly...isn't it newer? Might be limited numbers at this point. It's a chicken and egg problem when you are trying to create a dating app focused on one group. How do you get users if there's no users for them to match with?

I have never heard of that Tinder policy. I have ENM listed in my profile, but Tinder has never been good for me. Too many bots and not that many poly people, really. OTOH, my wife found a guy who is ENM there. Feeld is just a lot more open. So, while there are fewer users than Tinder, most of them are at least poly in some way (or not opposed to dating someone who is).

Feeld is where I've (cis-female and pansexual) had the most success with genuine poly partners. My husband (cis-het male) has met most on OKC and Feeld as well. If you live in the UK we also have "We Are X" which is a rebranded from "Killing Kittens" and is a much more inclusive site for meeting poly and enm partners. I think it may be available in other countries as well, but just not as widely used/known.x

Thank you! I actually work for a polyamorous dating app called Iconist. However, I only use this for work purposes and it is newer so not a lot of members yet. Feeld hasn’t been successful for me, I mostly have couples that “like” my profile on most sites although I clearly state I am not interested in couples 🤦🏼‍♀️

Maybe it’s just the area I live in, but I haven’t had success with feeld. Bumble was good for a bit but it’s rather slow now.

I'm not discounting your frustration, but I started dating a woman via Feeld who was on there as part of a couple. It's true that most of those couples have things like "we only play together" or some equivalent. But not all of them do. In her case, the profile DID say something like that. We talked a bit, and I found out my wife was not interested in such an approach (which is fine). So, I apologized for wasting her time. That's when she suggested the two of us just go out, and it has worked out VERY well. So, you never know. But I also don't know the couples who are liking you and what their restrictions are.
