Hi Folks!

I'm Chamelia (40/pan). I have been lurking around on this forum on and off for a few years. I think it's time to come out of the shadows and become more active.

I have been interested in polyamory since I learned about it 13 years ago, but have never ended up with more than one relationship at a time. My husband of 11 years is mono (37/het), but is supportive of me being poly. I've done so much research and we've had long talks about what it might mean should something ever actually happen. We have two young kids together and no one ever caught my interest more than our little family.

But recently, I am noticing others more and have started to fantasize about what some of these flirtations could become. The groundwork for moving forward is there, if I decide I want to, but it's scary and exciting. Having some poly friends would be wonderful, so here I am!

I look forward to getting more acquainted! :)

Greetings chamelia,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I see you registered in April of '16, I'm glad to see your recent posts. It sounds like you've done a lot to prepare yourself for poly, that is commendable and will help you along. Let us know if you have any questions ... I'm glad you're here.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Yay for newbies! I hope you find what you are looking for on the forums, Rockit49.

Thanks for the official greeting, Kevin! I have read your introduction post and appreciate your willingness to share the twists and turns of your relationship. It is both interesting and inspirational!

Thanks chamelia ... those are encouraging words for me.

Hi Chamelia - welcome to a more active role in the Forum! I will look forward to hearing of your poly journey. :) Al
