Have experience in poly rels - need some exp in discussing it openly

Hi all!

I am 42yo man from Ukraine. I'd been in mono-marriage for almost 11 years. After my divorce, I've met a couple of bisexual girls. We were good friends at first, but then they've told me about polyamory and proposed me to become their common "husband." It was the point when I've started learning about polyamory. Since then, all my relationships were polyamorous. This learning and practical experience have changed my life and my personality significantly.

I was happy to find this community. My country is too conservative in the meaning of sex and relationships. I didn't tell anyone about my polyamorous experience, except for a couple of my closest friends. I hope this board to be the place where I could depict and discuss this experience openly.

P.S. English is not my native language. If my texts are difficult to understand, feel free to tell me about it.

Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

No worries about the language thing, I can understand your writings well. These boards should definitely be a place for you where you could depict and discuss your poly experiences openly. Overall the various members here are friendly and open-minded. You may want to post in Poly Relationships Corner as that's where you can maximize the range and number of responses you receive. Or you can post here, I'll be following this thread and will respond!

It sounds like you have a couple of great poly relationships; that is good to hear. Glad you could join us, let us know if you have any questions!

Hello and Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us. Many of the regulars on here are from the USA, but we have posters from many different countries represented. Don't worry about your English - we'll ask you if something is confusing.

This is a great place to discuss your experiences - feel free to roam the threads and see what others are discussing as well. Be aware that there are many, many different ways to practice poly, so some peoples' experiences may be nearer to yours, while others' will be drastically different. You might want to check out the "Life Stories and Blogs" section where people journal their experiences. (Commenting in that particular area of the site is discouraged unless expressly invited - other sections you can jump right in, the exception being the "Friends and Dating" section - where you should only respond if you are interested in dating the poster).

I think your English is very good, and it's wonderful that you'll be practicing it here. It takes a lot of hard work to learn another language.
