Having trouble sleeping at boyfriend's house!

That sucks.

Is there an herbal tea you could take that would help you sleep?

Do you exercise? Supposed to help regulate your hormones and help you sleep better at night.

Besides that... why push it? I've always found in my life, anything I have to force, usually isn't worth it. I'm not talking about the occasional struggle or "learning opportunity" but if something is continually uncooperative and not really necessary, then I just don't do it. I don't sleep well at my gf's house because their bed is uncomfortable and it's too hot. So I don't sleep there. We cuddle and then I go home and go to bed. Even my husband has taken to sleeping on the couch because on any given night, one of us is tossing and keeping the other wake.

Unrelated to poly but I have had sleeping problems for years. I am sure that swirling emotions may have a lot to do with your insomnia, and perhaps an emotional routine may help as it definitely helped with me. For a while I watched the same TV series or read the same book (it was a very long book) until I felt settled in my emotions. Letting your partner know what you are doing, and the troubles you are having, is also greatly unburdening.

Hope you are able to get your rest!
