Hello,

I just found this site a few days ago. We are a poly family that have been together for 14 years. We are the odd ones in that three of us have lived together for over 12 years now. There is a fourth member of our family who does not live with us but we wish she did.

We live in a small northern Alberta town and while we don't advertise our relationship we don't hide it either. We have successfully raised 4 children in our family. They are now all adults and happily living their own lives.

Greetings Kyra,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

It sounds like you have an awesome poly family, I am glad you are here, and hope you will enjoy your stay. Namaste!

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome Kyra! Glad to have you, and your years of experience, join the forum.

Many posters come to the boards when they are new and struggling, so people get the impression that "long-term" poly is not possible. One theory is that settled long-term compatible configurations are busy living their lives and raising the kids.

Feel free to tell your story if you feel comfortable (we have a blogs section if you are so inclined). Chime in on any thread where you feel so inclined. Love to have a new voice!
