The name is Lance, I am progressively political, a movie lover of the genres of horror (possession, & Dracula films) comedy, political thrillers, and time travel and alternate realities films.

I am laid back love road trips and exploring forgotten history and so-called haunted locations.

I am a working actor of the lowest level as well as write screenplays.

Greetings Lance,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

When you mentioned political thrillers, the movie JFK came to my mind (one of my favorites), also Clear and Present Danger (possibly my all-time favorite). Also my two poly companions often go (with our friend Sam) on road trips to ghost towns (and semi-ghost towns) in New Mexico. So some common ground there, perhaps. Also Sam makes short films. Oh and we're definitely progressive. Anyway, it's great to have you with us, I take it you have some experience with poly, but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Those are all good choices for Political Thrillers, but I like for mine to be in the vein of Enemy of the State or even North by Northwest if one wants to go further back into the film catalog.

I have an idea for a largely unscripted film, inspired by the raw style of The Blair Witch Project. It follows a group of ambitious film students from Arkansas as they embark on a road trip along I-40, heading to Los Angeles with dreams of breaking into the industry. Along the way, they decide to film a documentary about haunted locations, stopping at infamous spots along historic route 66 that are rumored to be paranormally active. Their ultimate goal is to create a compelling proof-of-concept to pitch to a studio.

But as they reach a remote, supposedly haunted hotel, things take a dark turn. One of their friends suddenly falls mysteriously ill, and the group finds themselves racing against time, stranded miles from civilization. What starts as a playful exploration of ghost stories becomes a desperate struggle for survival.

For Arkansas politicians even the state party I am the extreme left. LOL That said, I fall between Progressive, Democratic Socialist with a touch of Anarcho-Syndicalism thrown in for good measure.

But thanks for the greeting and I will keep references in mind should I feel inclined to learn about more.

No problem! That sounds like a fun film you are thinking about making. Given how popular Blair Witch Project became, your idea has the potential to take off. As for your political orientation, I like extreme left, and sympathize with socialism.
