I have only read the OP, but I think it's not a matter of being "better" in bed. I don't think my husband is better in bed than anyone else, per se. He's just the only man (out of dozens) who's ever given me a vaginal orgasm. I think it's just the shape of his penis. I don't think there is anything any guy could do to give me one if he's not hitting that right spot over and over again.
 
One possible moral to the story thus being: in polyamory and (responsible) non-monogamy as a whole, every lover brings something different to the table.
