Hey Everybody,

I've been browsing here for months, working up the courage to finally actually post. I'm a poly curious female who is currently trying to get her head around the concepts.
Curious...hrmmm...not even sure if that's the right word.....i think i'm interested in exploring the possibilities, but scared to death might be a more accurate description of what I'm feeling right now!. hahaha

I have a long term same sex partner of 14 years but just recently found myself bowled over by another person...

not sure what to do with these feelings, so i thought i'd finally delurk and start asking some questions.

Don't be over worried about the terminology. One of the great things about poly in general is that there's no actual need to define things in terms others will get. There's all kinds of arrangements that are perfectly valid, and yours might fall in between some. And that's all okay.

Poly curious seems like a fine description to me. :)
 
Welcome. Have you discussed this with your partner at all? It's a huge mountain to climb, for sure. But when my wife came to me in much the same circumstance, we were both amazed and the intimacy that grew from trusting each other with our 'deep dark secrets'. That's obviously not something to just jump into without considerable thought, but honesty is always the first step to freedom.
