Introduction time

Hello,

I've been browsing these forums for awhile, reading about others' experiences, and decided to take the plunge today by making making an account.

My wife and I are both 39 and have been married for over 15 years. Our shared journey with polyamory began years ago when my wife let it slip that she found one of my friends attractive and would mess around with him given the chance. We had talked about this in abstract forms in the past, but nothing more then that. Something felt right about it, so I gave her the green light, and the rest is history.

Since then, we have had a variety of different experiences, mostly focused on short-term relationships, with the occasional long-term one mixed in. We've both dated the same person, as well as dated separately.

Sounds like you have a pretty good amount of poly experience under your belt. It's really good that you and your wife have both had an open mind about things, and that you support each other in poly relationships. I hope you'll continue to be successful in poly, and I'm glad you could join our forum.
