Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

2:47 p.m., Tuesday the 19th

For dinner last night, Snowbunny prepared salmon for us, as well as corn and from a can, sugarless baked beans. Ginger had a Rally class, and while Snowbunny and Ginger were away, Brother-Husband took Eddie on a walk. Tonight the reverse of that will apply: Eddie has a Rally class, and while Snowbunny and Eddie are away, Brother-Husband will take Ginger on a walk. I also noticed the slow cooker cooking some chicken, so I'm assuming that's what we'll have for dinner tonight.

4:23 p.m., Wednesday the 20th

SB prepared the chicken for us, plus a mango/kale salad and tomatoes. BH and SB had rice with their chicken, SB made me a potato instead of rice, and that meant a lot to me. That's all I have to tell you for today.

1:44 p.m., Thursday the 21st

SB made chili for us last night, it was good. It looks like we're having chicken hearts tonight -- meh not my fave. Tomorrow or Saturday, SB and I might go shopping. I'll need to buy a few travel size items, as I have a Utah trip coming up in about a week. I'm not a fan of traveling, but once a year I bite that bullet, for the sake of visiting my relatives (most of whom live in Utah Valley). For five days I'll have a lot to do, and probably won't be visiting this forum as much as usual.

Come Saturday, we will have an outing with Eponine and John. The five of us will do an escape room ("Trapped in the 80's"), then eat at a Korean BBQ place (the one, I think, that is within walking distance of the escape room). I reckon it'll be a good time for us all.

1:52 p.m., Friday the 22nd

I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember what we ate for dinner last night. Thank gods it wasn't chicken hearts. I guess SB moved them from the oven into the freezer. We'll have to eat them eventually.

11:36 a.m., Saturday the 23rd

Dinner last night was: veggie lentil soup from a while back -- SB had put it in the freezer, only now to take it out to thaw. I'm not really a soup person, nor a lentil person, so this dish would really have to perform to overcome those obstacles.

It just about would have passed the test, but then -- SB's words not mine -- it needed salt. Well, that's what salt shakers are for, and luckily we had one on the table. Along with a pepper shaker. I used both on mine. That's the end of my story.

12:55 p.m., Sunday the 24th

All went well last night, we escaped the room and then had a great dinner with not too much of a wait. Tonight BH and SB are going to a bluegrass concert, BH received two tickets from someone at work, they had to cancel for some reason, so they gave BH the tickets. I don't mind staying home for this one, I'm not much of a concert person anyway.

4:42 p.m., Monday the 25th

Dinner last night was veggie burgers plus sweet potato waffle fries. I was reasonably pleased about it. Today SB is making something in the slow cooker. Sausage maybe, with veggies.

12:41 p.m., Tuesday the 26th

Rather than sausage, it was a roast (with veggies). No complaints, I'm addicted to meat. Usually Eddie has a Rally class on Tuesdays (Ginger's are on Mondays), but for some reason our calendar is showing a blank on tonight. I don't know if I'll catch up on my daily stuff, but we'll see.

Do you all ever go out to dinner? At one of your favorite restaurants?

The three of us eat out maybe once or twice a month. Albuquerque does have a nice selection of restaurants.

It's good. Monroe's might be our favorite.

11:55 a.m., Wednesday the 27th

Never tried Hooters, I did try Twin Peaks a couple of times, and would go there again.

The food was good, and is actually the main reason I'd go back. The prices were good too.
