1:05 p.m., Wednesday the 22nd

Actually the Amy's veggie lasagna was pretty good. Also Snowbunny warmed up an Amy's pasta/veggie/cheese dish for me. I'm not sure what Brother-Husband had, I didn't pay too much attention. There's no classes tonight, so Snowbunny will probably make us something fancier than TV dinners. Yuki did have a vet appointment, at 11:30 a.m. I think. She got some shots. The vet did find a puncture wound on one of her rear legs, she hasn't been fussing with it, so we are sparing her of the cone of shame for the moment.
 
2:46 p.m., Thursday the 23rd

SB prepared Alaskan salmon for BH and me; she had king crab legs. It's not that I don't like crab, I just find it hard to get the meat out of the exoskeleton. I know BH doesn't like to "play with his food." I like salmon, so dinner was fine with me. We also had, as sides, veggies and a special rice dish. Today, SB and I might go grocery shopping, today or tomorrow. We're also going to be voting soon.
 
3:38 p.m., Friday the 24th

SB made us veggie burgers for dinner last night. Also she prepared baked beans and salad, and she made us a pecan dessert. Tonight she and I might go shopping, or the three of us might go and vote. I'm not sure.
 
4:16 p.m., Saturday the 25th

At a little after 6:00 p.m. last night, BH, SB, and I went and voted. After that we ate out at a cool little Mexican place. I was mighty happy. Then SB and I went grocery shopping; that also made me happy. I guess SB is making salad for dinner tonight; that makes me a little sad but SB will put blue cheese sprinkles on my salad and I can add blue cheese dressing to that. So that is a nice consolation.

Today, BH let Yuki out of the guest room for a few minutes. The dogs were excited out of their minds, but I thought they did pretty good this time around. They'll learn, it just takes a while.
 
1:50 p.m., Sunday the 26th

BH let Yuki out again and the dogs behaved pretty well -- for dogs. Yuki has actually checked out a couple of rooms -- my room and BH's/SB's room. I am hopeful that the time will come that Yuki can have the run of the house. Little steps.

After dinner, BH, SB, and I watched a couple of shows: a Better Call Saul episode, and then "Burn," a documentary about the Detroit fire department. It was actually quite good, I know the title sounds kind of boring. Today, Stan will come over for dinner and a visit. We're all supposed to pick out some spooky songs.
 
5:25 p.m., Monday the 27th

SB made (the four of) us Polish sausage, potatoes and carrots, and sauerkraut in the slow cooker. Today I think she's making (the three of) us bean soup -- yay for the bean part, not so much for the soup part. That's just me. I did have a dentist appointment today, a routine cleaning, and no problems (such as a chipped tooth or a cavity) were discovered. So that's good.
 
4:17 p.m., Tuesday the 28th

I'm not generally much of a soup person, but as soup goes, this was pretty good. It had beans, carrots, celery, onions, and just the right seasonings. SB brought out some bread, and I dipped a couple of pieces in the soup. Nice. For tonight SB is preparing some kind of steak/roast, it is a new recipe. I'll admit the smell is quite enticing.
 
12:57 p.m., Wednesday the 29th

So dinner was pretty good, although SB said it was too much work to be worth it in the future. We also had mashed potatoes with it which was a nice bonus. I'm not sure what we're having tonight. This concludes my riport.
 
2:08 p.m., Thursday the 30th

SB made salmon for us, it was good. She and BH also had rice. She knows I'm not much of a rice person, so she made me mashed potatoes. I was really happy about that. Eddie has a barn hunt class, so we'll probably have an early dinner, SB and BH will probably have tofu chicken nuggets, SB knows I'm not much of a tofu person, so she'll heat up the leftover bean soup for me. I appreciate it, although I must confess I've been experiencing an elevated level of anxiety yesterday and today. I don't know why.
 
4:30 p.m., Friday the 31st

Besides the soup and nuggets yesterday, SB made an unusual salad with apples, cucumbers, dates, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds, topped with grated cheese. It was pretty good, something different. She also cooked a sweet potato, but she didn't make me have any. I do like mashed sweet potatoes covered with marshmallows, but for some reason I don't much care for whole sweet potatoes.

Tomorrow the three of us will go on a road trip with Stan, and SB is okay with me tagging along on this one. I think Stan will also come over for dinner and a visit. Something to look forward to.
 
7:40 a.m., Saturday the 1st

For dinner last night SB made something she's made before. It has hamburger, noodles, cabbage, and onions. Not bad. We didn't have many trick-or-treaters, so we're all set on candy. Later we watched a Better Call Saul episode. Today I got up early so I could join BH, SB, and Stan on a road trip.
 
12:28 p.m., Sunday the 2nd

It wasn't a long trip, we just stopped at various places in town. We walked around Old Town, hit a few thrift stores, and ate lunch at Dion's. I'm not generally big on pizza, but I have to say this was really good. All in all we were out and about from about 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., it was fun. Then Stan came over for dinner and a visit. Then we (BH, SB, and I) watched the latest South Park episode and the Aristocats. This concludes my riport.
 
12:06 p.m., Monday the 3rd

We liked Dion's so well, that the three of us got it again last night (takeout). We got another classic pepperoni and cheese (large), plus a 505 (medium), which is my favorite kind. The 505 is pepperoni and cheese, plus green chili. It's really good, take my word on that. After dinner we watched a Better Call Saul episode.
 
3:12 p.m., Tuesday the 4th

For dinner last night we had spaghetti and (meatless?) meatballs, only the spaghetti was those detestable tasteless rubbery noodles. It didn't kill me, but apparently there are still enough of those noodles for one more dinner sometime, so, I haz a sad. I'm sure we won't have that tonight, but I don't know what we will have.
 
12:45 p.m., Wednesday the 5th

SB made us veggie burgers, plus a cucumber salad: cucumber and onion slices, in a plain yogurt dressing with dill I think. After dinner BH and SB took the dogs to a Rally class I think. This is all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
12:01 p.m., Thursday the 6th

We had salad for dinner last night, it wasn't bad, I had blue cheese dressing on mine, which is always my favorite. Tonight Eddie has a Rally class, which I guess means an early dinner and nothing too fancy. That's all I have to tell you for now.
 
2:53 p.m., Friday the 7th

We had chicken strips, tofu nuggets, and sweet potatoes. Okay; nothing overly exciting. I do remind myself that SB is going to the trouble of making me a good dinner, and I know plenty of people out there get nothing for dinner. Tomorrow, SB will take the dogs to a Barn Hunt trial in Farmington, and she wants me to go along for the ride. I'll have to get up in the wee hours of the morning, but I guess it won't kill me to do that (once in a while). Today, I have to go get labs done, SB and I will leave to do that in about an hour. They'll want me to give a urine sample, hopefully I can do that. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
4:24 a.m., Saturday the 8th

Everything went well getting labs, the lady was super proficient at finding a vein, and I didn't even feel the needle. I was able to give them the urine sample, now I'm just anxious about the results. My kidneys have been struggling somewhat, I have been taking special pills for that, plus adjusting my diet, and I am really hoping for some good news on that front.

For dinner, SB prepared for us a dish with chicken, artichoke hearts, and spinach (I think) in a cream sauce. I'm not always big on chicken, but this was pretty good. Also she made us mashed potatoes. Not sure what the plan is for dinner tonight, I thought I heard BH say he and Stan would eat leftovers, on the other hand SB was talking about takeout on the way home from Farmington.
