Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

Thanks XTremeMeow. I thought it was important to post my story, people were wondering how I came to be poly, and how I fare/d in my V relationship.

Thanks XTremeMeow. I thought it was important to post my story, people were wondering how I came to be poly, and how I fare/d in my V relationship.
I should be the one thanking you. It was really kind of you to share it with us. For me every story about how one became poly is truly fascinating and I get to learn a lot

Yeah that's a big part of what the blog section is for. Visitors find it very helpful to read various people's poly stories.

We're a friendly bunch, dig right in. ;)

Greate to hear. I have a interesting question. Have you ever considered what is the maximum number of parters you would like to have? Like maybe you think you can have a maximum of 3 parteners and maybe a friend with benefits? Something like this

I've never had it tested how many partners I can handle, so it would be hard to say what my maximum is. At one time I had two partners, and that was pretty hard to navigate. In more recent times I had a long-distance partner in addition to my one nesting partner, and I handled that a little better. Different people have different maximums, but I reckon that smaller maximums are more common.

Oh, how was the long distance relationship? I know there are a lot of people willing to have long distance or online relationships but they cannot find anyone willing to do it. I was always opent for this idea so if you kmow someone, i would be more than glad to have a chat

Long-distance relationships are usually hard. Mine fizzled after a couple of months. And I had one for a few months with the woman I ended up marrying -- obviously the long-distance part had an end date, but it was an ordeal. I think we have a few active members with LDR's, I can't remember whom. Well there's Evie, that's one.

I see. I know that long distance relationships usually are hard and they end up fast, but in my case i really feel like it will not be the same. This is why I would really like to find someone who is currently looking for such a relarionship. Do you think it would be a good idea to send her a message?

Well I don't think Evie is looking, I just know she has one or more LDR currently. You could ask her for tips on making LDR's work I suppose. Also you could do a search (the search tab is in the upper-right-hand corner of this window) for LDR, Long-Distance Relationships, things of that nature, for more insights on how to make that work. As for finding someone who wants to be in an LDR with you, that is a separate topic. You might want to try some poly-friendly dating sites/apps, Feeld and OKCupid are two that I know of.

12:56 p.m., Friday the 28th

Snowbunny made Brother-Husband and me a really good Thanksgiving dinner. It included deviled eggs, which is one of my all-time favorites. She said we'd have leftovers tonight, I assume Thanksgiving leftovers which sounds good to me. Last night after dinner, we watched three Better Call Saul episodes. Now we're on the last season. Tomorrow we'll get together with Eponine and John, I imagine that will be a good time.

11:58 a.m., Saturday the 29th

We'll be leaving in about an hour and 20 minutes, to go to the Albuquerque zoo. I'm thinking we'll meet Eponine and John at the zoo, then there is a new Chinese place where the five of us will have dinner. Tomorrow Stan will come over, and SB will make a roast.

11:54 a.m., Sunday the 30th

Well it was really cool to see the various animals at the zoo, and the Chinese place (Red Chili House I think) was really good. After that the five of us got together at this house, and played a couple of games (including Cards against Humanity which is always fun). Today SB is making a special German chocolate cake, the kind my late wife used to make. It's a very involved recipe, so I appreciate it. I expect Stan to show up here at 3:00 or 4:00 p.m., it's been a fun weekend. As for my shoulder, it is almost healed, the pain is down to a one out of ten.

12:39 p.m., Monday the 1st

Dinner was good, and the cake was fabulous. I had as many pieces of cake as I could stuff myself with. We had a good time with Stan. Unfortunately, SB says she slept poorly last night. There's not a lot going on at the moment, I am drinking some mushroom coffee.

1:45 p.m., Tuesday the 2nd

Last night for dinner we had salmon and cucumber salad (cucumber slices, plain yogurt, and dill), also I had leftover eggplant from Red Chili House. There was one piece of German chocolate cake, I eagerly devoured it.

12:36 p.m., Wednesday the 3rd

One of the dogs (Ginger I think?) had Rally class last night; after SB got home from that, we had salad for dinner. This was acceptable. I had the last of my blue cheese dressing; now I have some balsamic vinaigrette to go through. Today SB had a couple of health/medical appointments; tomorrow I think both of the dogs have a Rally class. And tomorrow, I think I have a phone/online meetup/checkup with my doctor. I hope to hear some good news, but we'll see.

1:32 p.m., Thursday the 4th

For dinner last night SB made us veggie burgers, they were pretty good. Also we had baked beans, and veggies with hummus. Today I'm just about to do that doctor appointment. I'll let you know how that goes in my next post. Tonight I guess just Eddie has the Rally class. We'll probably just have canned soup tonight.
