3:20 p.m., Thursday the 25th

Brother-Husband and I recently watched the first episode of Pluribus, and Snowbunny was in the room. I thought it was quite good, Snowbunny didn't like the main character's epic panic attack. Moot point anyways, it is on a network that we'll only have for a few more days or weeks.
 
4:06 p.m., Friday the 26th

We had a nice Christmas. On Christmas Eve we joined Eponine and John; the five of us drove to the Old Town area and checked out the Luminaria and other lights; after that we ate at a really good Mexican place, I forget the name, Something Azul maybe.

Christmas Day was pretty uneventful. SB made us a creamy beef stroganoff soup for lunch; we just had salad for dinner. In my sock was some licorice allsorts, two BuzzBallz, and a ten-day supply of cannabis-infused marionberry gummies (indica enhanced). The allsorts is gone already, and I'm working on the gummies.

Also yesterday, BH and I watched the first episode of the latest Stranger Things season. I liked it although it was a bit hard to follow. I don't think BH liked it as much as the first season, so I don't know whether we'll watch any more of it.

Today it looks like we'll have a roast, mushrooms, and veggies, from out of the slow cooker. I kind of hope we'll watch something after dinner, but we'll see. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
2:12 p.m., Saturday the 27th

BH was feeling under the weather, and turned in right away after dinner. SB and I watched a couple of Law & Order (SVU) episodes. Today SB and I will meet up with Eponine and John (in Old Town? I don't remember), BH will sit this one out as he is still ill.
 
2:12 p.m., Monday the 29th

Well BH actually recovered, and was able to join us, it seems that he just had a 24-hour type of illness. The five of us met at a wine tasting place, where we did a session and bought a few bottles of wine. After that we met for dinner at a place called Seared Bistro. All in all I had a great time, I think the others did too.
 
5:54 p.m., Tuesday the 30th

SB made a Mexican dinner yesterday, I am a huge fan of Mexican so I was happy about that, however I will confess that I used too much queso sauce, and didn't like it. Tonight Ginger has Rally class, SB and I will eat after she gets back. It sounds like we'll have leftover lentil soup. Not bad as far as soups are concerned, but meh. You win some, you lose some.
 
1:40 p.m., Wednesday the 31st

So Ginger did a super good job in her Rally class, SB was proud. Tomorrow BH and SB leave with the dogs to go to a Barn Hunt trial in Colorado. For a few days, Yuki and I will have the house to ourselves.
 
2:46 p.m. Thursday the 1st

BH, SB, Eddie, and Ginger, are on their way to Colorado. Yuki and I are on our own for the next few days. I am okay with this, I am just doing my yearly backup on things.
 
1:39 p.m., Friday the 2nd

SB said I could have some of a cognac (a kind of brandy) she left in the fridge, and I am happy to say I am doing it. I paid for it last night though, I bumbled into a stalemate on last night's chess bot game. I don't know, maybe it doesn't matter. Yuki and I are enjoying our time alone together. I suppose the rest of the gang will arrive back here tomorrow evening/night.
 
12:52 p.m., Saturday the 3rd

Yuki has been extra frisky today. Perhaps she'll play with the dogs when they get home. She has been getting along with them amazingly well lately. Well and they've been amazingly well-behaved around her lately. She does have an escape hatch into the guest bedroom. A gate with a space she can fit through, but they can't. Really though, the reason for that is that Ginger was having snacks from Yuki's litter box. Ginger will eat anything, even vegetables.
 
1:34 p.m., Sunday the 4th

BH, SB, Eddie, and Ginger all got home safe and sound last night, around 10:45 p.m., I was already in bed. Later today (3:00 p.m.? 4:00 p.m.?) Stan will come over, we will all pick out songs with birds in the title to watch on YouTube. Not much else to tell you, SB is doing laundry and maybe vacuuming.
 
1:13 p.m., Monday the 5th

SB ordered Chinese takeout for us yesterday (DoorDash). There was a lot. We had enough leftover to have it again for dinner tonight. Not much going on other than that, it is a quiet day.
 
3:05 p.m., Tuesday the 6th

Eddie has Rally practice tonight, so we'll eat after that (7:45 p.m.-ish), and we'll just have TV dinners. It's pretty uneventful today.
 
3:22 p.m., Wednesday the 7th

We had like three things of Amy's mutter paneer in the freezer, so that's what SB and I had. It's one of my favorites, but not so much for BH, who I'm sure had something else. And SB said that tonight, we would have a dish with some kind of imitation chicken (tofu). Not sure if I'll like it, but we'll see.
 
4:12 p.m., Friday the 9th

The credit union SB works for ... had a system crash about the time of the above entry. SB had to work late to fix it, so BH made dinner. Dinner was actually pretty decent. The imitation chicken was adequate in taste and texture. Then yesterday, Ginger had a Rally class and we had an early dinner, salad and freezer-to-oven pizza from the grocery store. Again, pretty decent even though I'm not usually a pizza person. Today I guess we're going to have a bean soup, it actually looks promising even though I'm not usually a soup person. This concludes my riport.
 
1:21 p.m., Saturday the 10th

The soup was pretty good (as soups go). Besides beans, it had carrots, celery, onions, ham, rosemary, and probably a few other things. Also SB made rolls for us. Today, BH and SB went on a road trip (I was still in bed). SB prepared kong treats (rubbery containers of frozen dog food) for the dogs, I gave them that and they seemed pretty happy about it. Stan might come over this afternoon, after BH and SB get back.
 
12:23 p.m., Sunday the 11th

Shortly after BH and SB got back, Stan met us here and the four of us went to a thrift store, and to a pet store. After that we had dinner and a visit here (at "the V house"). For dinner SB made us a quinoa/lentil soup, it actually wasn't bad, plus we had more of those rolls (biscuits would be a better word). Today BH and I have eye appointments, SB will go with us, maybe we'll do something fun while we're out.
 
2:00 p.m., Monday the 12th

The eye appointment went well, most of the tests I took came out favorably, my eyes are healthy other than a mild astigmatism. We found some really nice frames for me, and the new glasses will be ready today, so at about 6:05 p.m. SB and I will drive back there to pick them up. The insurance I have covered a good amount and the exam plus the new glasses came out to a little over $100.00 (BH's came out to more like $400.00). After the eye appointment, we stopped at Dutch Brothers which made me happy for sure. I got a frozen 911 -- Irish cream syrup plus extra shots of coffee -- no whip. About an hour after we got home, the three of us took the dogs for a walk. This made the dogs very happy for sure. For dinner we had salad and leftover bean soup. About an hour later, BH and I watched a Stranger Things episode. This concludes my riport.
 
4:20 p.m., Tuesday the 13th

For dinner last night, SB made us seasoned potato and squash slices in the oven, and turkey in the slow cooker. SB and I then went to pick up my new glasses. That worked out fine. Tonight Eddie has Rally practice, so dinner will be TV dinners. Meh ... better than nothing.
 
12:47 p.m., Wednesday the 14th

SB has to work an extra late shift tonight, starting at 9:00 p.m., possibly four hours or more. I assume she'll get overtime for that. All next week she'll be in Washington State, a work trip. BH and I will have the house to ourselves, along with the pets. Can't think of anything more to tell you at the moment.
