12:17 p.m., Sunday the 22nd

We had hot dogs and baked beans for dinner last night. Snowbunny had to do a late night shift at work. Which is a bummer but she will get overtime. In the meantime, Brother-Husband and I watched a movie, "Now You See Me, Now You Don't." It wasn't bad, it was only slightly manic. Today, Brother-Husband and Snowbunny are working out in the yard. They stopped at Lowe's last night for some equipment for today, in between dinner and the movie.
 
12:12 p.m., Monday the 23rd

Stan came over yesterday, I think he had to work but he came over right afterwards. A good time was had by all. Dinner was teriyaki chicken, plus steamed broccoli, and veggie egg rolls from the air fryer. After dinner Stan went home, and then BH and I watched the movie "Nobody" (starring Bob Odenkirk, the Better Call Saul guy). It was an action thriller, high octane but there is a sequel and we will probably watch that too.
 
3:28 p.m., Tuesday the 24th

For dinner yesterday we had a layered dish of rice, broccoli, imitation chicken, and a kind of sweet sauce on top. Regarding the chicken, it looked enough like real chicken, but the consistency was kind of rubbery. The taste wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very chickeny either, I don't know how to describe it, it was somewhat bland. I know, I shouldn't be complaining, SB works hard to give us good dinners every day.
 
1:23 p.m., Wednesday the 25th

For dinner yesterday we had some kind of breaded chicken, I think it was imitation chicken, also green beans and mashed potatoes, with gravy. Not bad overall, I was quite hungry. The calendar said SB had to do a short late-night shift (9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. I think), but I didn't stay up for that. Not sure what the plan is for tonight.
 
12:56 p.m., Thursday the 26th

For dinner yesterday we had chicken from the slow cooker with barbecue sauce, squash, leftover mashed potatoes, and broccoli. As a bonus we had pretzel rolls delivered to us from the German store, and for dessert SB cut up some cantaloupe. Pretty good overall, I was quite hungry. Tonight I think we're having some kind of pasta.
 
4:11 p.m., Friday the 27th

Some of SB's errands ran late yesterday, so she pushed the pasta dish forward to today. Yesterday she got us takeout from Burger King. She and I had impossible whoppers plus fries and a drink, BH had chicken nuggets as he has some dietary restrictions at the moment with a colonoscopy coming up. Tomorrow the three of us will get together with Eponine and John, I haven't inquired about the details but on the calendar it does look like an extended visit; I am looking forward to it.
 
12:40 p.m., Saturday the 28th

So dinner last night was pasta and meatballs, I think they were turkey meatballs, also of course sauce and parmesan cheese. The sauce SB and I had was spicy; BH had a mild sauce as he is quite sensitive to spicy food. After dinner, SB and I went to Kelly Liquor to pick out some wines (I picked out a bottle of port). Today I am trying quite hard not to eat anything until after we arrive at Eponine's and John's house, as I don't want to spoil my appetite. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
1:57 p.m., Sunday the 1st

So the five of us did some geocaching; afterwards we all went over to Eponine's and John's house, where Eponine and John made dinner for us, it was called hot pot. To quote Wiktionary, "a communal meal, popular in China, where diners share a bowl of hot broth or stock into which uncooked foods such as mushrooms, vegetables, and cuts of meat are dipped until they are cooked enough to be eaten." It was truly Chinese, we ate with chopsticks, it was good. After dinner we played a couple of games, while snacking on cheese and crackers, and drinking some wine. It was a nice evening. We wrapped up at about 10:00 p.m.
 
2:28 p.m., Monday the 2nd

Stan came over yesterday, we all watched some vintage commercials, then shared dinner, it was fish (walleye), seasoned potato and squash slices from the oven, pickled bean salad, and bread. After dinner Stan went home as he goes to bed and gets up very early, after Stan went home SB and I went grocery shopping. This concludes my riport.
 
2:41 p.m., Tuesday the 3rd

We had leftovers yesterday, I had the leftover fish (and potatoes and squash), BH and SB had the leftover pasta/meatballs. Which I appreciate, as I am not generally a pasta person. Today, BH has to stick to liquids, so SB and I will have a spicy lentil soup. BH isn't generally a fan of spicy food. Tomorrow he has his colonoscopy.
 
12:50 p.m., Wednesday the 4th

The dogs had Rally class last night, and so SB didn't have enough time to make the lentil soup. Instead, she got us takeout from Subway. Tuna sandwiches. I was mighty happy about that. BH and SB are away right now for BH's colonoscopy. He was talking about ordering pizza for dinner today, and so I reckon that's probably what we'll do. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
2:01 p.m., Thursday the 5th

We had pizza from Papa John's, it included garlic butter cups for the crust, it was good. I don't know what we'll have for dinner tonight, I am easy and look forward to something different. Tomorrow looks like something different too, on Saturday SB has a Rally event with the dogs, BH and I will do something with Stan, possibly a road trip. This concludes my riport.
 
3:08 p.m., Friday the 6th

SB and I had the spicy lentil soup last night, it was good. BH had I think some kind of a meat-and-gravy dish, as he doesn't normally do spicy. I'll ask him over dinner, if he and Stan will do a road trip tomorrow and if so, can I join and at what time should I be ready to leave. Probably early, I have set my alarm for 6:00 a.m., and will turn the alarm off if we're not doing the road trip. This is all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
8:12 a.m., Saturday the 7th

We aren't leaving as early as I thought we might, so I got to sleep in (til 7:00 a.m. haha). Later today, SB will take the dogs to a Rally competition here in Albuquerque. Not sure when she'll get back (nor when BH and I will get back). Last night for dinner, SB prepared chicken for us, also she made us pesto/basil pasta, and there was leftover pickled bean salad. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
11:44 a.m., Sunday the 8th

BH, Stan, and I went on a local road trip, in and around Albuquerque. We had brunch at IHOP, I had eggs/bacon/sausage plus pancakes and French toast. Stan had an omelette, it was huge. Today Stan will come over after work, he works at Lowe's (in the electrical department). I guess Eddie and Ginger both did well at the Rally competition. For dinner SB ordered takeout for us at a local Chinese restaurant. Today Stan will come over, and we'll have something out of the slow cooker.
 
2:19 p.m., Monday the 9th

We had chili out of the slow cooker, with bison and a few different kinds of beans. Stan went home after dinner, then the three of us watched a documentary about John Candy. It was good. Candy sounds like a sweet guy. Not much to riport on otherwise. Next week we have a couple of events going on, first we'll go see the musical "The Book of Mormon," then later in the week we'll go to a Styx concert.
 
3:36 p.m., Tuesday the 10th

Last night we had leftover chili and lentil soup, also there were bagels with a couple of kinds of cream cheese. I had the honey-jalapeño kind. Tonight the dogs have Rally class/practice, we might have TV dinners before they leave. Not much else to tell you at this time.
 
2:14 p.m., Wednesday the 11th

SB just took Ginger to Rally class. While they were away, BH took Eddie on a walk. We ate dinner after they got back, we had salad for dinner (which was fine). The weather has been good lately, although today has a bit of a wind chill. This concludes my riport.
 
12:35 p.m., Thursday the 12th

Last night for dinner we had some kind of sausage, seasoned potato chunks from the oven, and beet chunks. The beets were leftover from the salad we had on Tuesday. Anyway, that was decent if not overly exciting. Not much going on today, I don't know what we'll have for dinner tonight.
 
1:47 p.m., Friday the 13th

We had pierogi, potato/cheese pierogi from the store, they were quite good. We also had asparagus, I'm not so excited about that but I know we needed a vegetable (besides potatoes). We're doing something with Stan tomorrow, BH and SB might do a road trip with him, but I don't think that part's been decided.
