Long time lurker, first time poster!

Hi everyone,

I’ve found this forum to be such a valuable & kind source of wisdom and knowledge and wanted to jump in as my partner (trans woman, 40) and I (nb femme, 32) wander further into the waters of polyamory. We are long distance— I’m based in Canada and she’s based in the US (where I used to live and where we met). We are both queer.

I consider myself to be monoromantic (haha autocorrect tried to change this to monomaniac) but interested in being sexually enm. My partner “Aliyah” considers herself poly.

I’ve been doing a lot of reading and self-reflecting as she’s been starting to see/hang out with a crush and was hoping to join the forum & restart therapy to sort out my own feelings. I’m already really appreciating all of the strong relational & communication tools I’ve developed from this past year of exploring what being poly & enm has looked like.

Looking forward to joining and connecting with you all!

Greetings hollyhock,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

It is great to have you with us, it sounds like you have some challenges as Aliyah begins to explore her polyamory. Keep lurking, and posting as well, we will try to help in any way we can.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)
