New to poly

Hi all,

I'm new to polyamory but I've known for a long time that I am more aligned with more open relationships. I am married and partner is also feeling poly but neither of us has met anyone yet. I know how my heart feels- it enjoys the expansive, open love. However, I have no idea what it actually feels like to live that way. So I've been reading a bit so I understand how to set up guidelines that work for us and hopefully avoid a few pitfalls.

So, I am looking to connect with people that "get it" and we can talk about poly stuff- you can't always talk about things like that with anyone. Glad to have found this forum.

Greetings consciousspirit,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

You've probably always been poly at heart, but just didn't realize there was a word (much less a community) for it. Now you are ready to learn as much as possible, and I applaud that! I see you have already been posting here and there on the various boards, and I like what you have said so far. Let us know of any questions you may have! It's great to have you with us.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!
