Hello, I’m Moon and I’ve been married for 18 years. My husband and I opened our marriage last year and it has been interesting. After years of it being just us, it has been fun making new friends that could potentially lead to romance. I’m bi, and while I have made a few friends, nothing seems to stick or, we simply are better as friends. I am pretty open to dating new people, but I am very careful about my body and will want to take things very slow. I don’t discuss sexual things until I have formed a true friendship bond with someone. I suppose that is one of the reasons I have yet to find someone willing to stick around long enough to make that connection. It has been difficult to meet people who don’t use polyamory as a means of cheating on their partners.
But now I have found this place, and I’m hoping things change for the better. I look forward to making new friends, and learning more about this community. I have always had the ability to love more than one person at a time, and I never understood the concept of being forced to choose between your loves. Why not love them all? I didn’t even know polyamory was a word to describe me until last year.
but it has been liberating discovering that I am not alone.
