Hi, I'm new here and from Bedfordshire, UK. I came across this forum in a search for more background information about polyamory as my BF and I have been talking about this for a while and have lots of questions :)

I spent 13 years married to (and in fact, still getting divorced from) a man who was very controlling and drank very heavily. We have 3 children together so he continues to feature in my life but we have been separated 2 years. I have found a massive source of support in AlAnon and the spiritual journey with the help of my sponsor so far has been amazing!

My BF and I both agree that we are seeking freedom from the accepted boundaries - although it's hard to know exactly what that will look like as this is pretty new to us both but looking forward to exploring this forum :)

Hi from Surrey, and welcome !

Thanks for the messages! Yes, I think this place is exactly what I needed :)

There's so much on here it's going to take a while to work through!

Greetings DragonTamer,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

Two new members back-to-back from Bedfordshire, :D, what are the odds. (Voxliberat is the other.)

I read your blog post and responded briefly. It sounds like you're approaching polyamory in a sensible way and I think you'll do well. "More than Two" is a good book/website and it may help.

Enjoy your stay here with us.
Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!
