Angels & Devils
A couple of years ago I was talking with my partner about what to bring to a potluck meal. I was considering making deviled eggs (how cliche, right?). And when I spoke it -- "deviled eggs" -- I immediately though of angel food cake. My mind is funny that way. So I said " ... but I'll have to bring some angel food cake, just to balance things out."
Gradually, this brief conversation about what to bring to a potluck lunch led me to think up a whole theme party -- an Angels & Devils theme party. Google helped me realize that my idea is hardly unique. But I'm thinking of really doing it, holding an Angels & Devils theme party. And the first item on my agenda is to create a somewhat comprehensive list of food stuffs which would be fun to consider.
My list so far (and I'm asking for your help with the list):
deviled eggs
deviled ham
devil's food cake
angel's food cake
angel hair pasta
Surely there are plenty of other food stuffs which have "angel" and "devil" in their name. And then we can get creative in various other ways, such as using synonyms, etc.
I'm also interested in suggestions and ideas for an Angels & Devils theme party -- beyond food ideas.
