My wife and I are a (hetero) northern California couple who after over a decade of monogamy are tippytoing into the world of poly, in part because my wife is bisexual and we both agree that putting her in a box is not making either one of us happy. We have quite a few poly friends, so this is not terra incognita, but still a huge change for us. We're willing to see where things lead and go with it.

I have been poly forever. My husband/partner (not really primary) is new to it but is very happy going this way. If you have any questions please feel free to write back or message.
At first we had a bumpy road but now we talked everything open and honest and it's working out great for us

When you say Northern Cali do you mean anywhere near the Bay Area? If so, you're in luck because I hear that area is something of a "poly paradise."
