Shareable Calendar App?

So my boyfriend, his wife and I are trying to find a calendar app that we can share. By share I mean it's one account/calendar that we can all see and add info.

My metamour is the first to admit that she does not have a great memory and will forget about plans. This has lead to being double booked (ex/ both her and my boyfriend have plans to be out and no child care arranged) and one of them needing to cancel their plans. So we want the app so we can put in our plans as soon as they are arranged or see if one of us already has plans and therefore not double book.

A big issue is I'm on android and they have iPhone. So it needs to work for both.

I use google calendar with all 3 of my guys and there are both Android and IPhones in the mix. :)
 
Google calendar has worked well for us, although I did have to download the Google Cal app for iOS. Shared calendars don't always play well with the iOS native calendar app.
 
I have no calendar app, I just rely on Snowbunny to keep track of things.
 
We are going to use the Google calendar and I have already added dates to it, but now i have to figure out how to share it with them... LOL
