Squee! I am so excited!

My husband (Glasses) ended up meeting my boyfriend (Pontytail) last night. We had plans for them to meet this weekend, but we were all starting to feel anxious about it and wanted to take off the pressure. It felt right that they should just meet casually and so that's what we ended up doing. And now we can enjoy getting together again on the weekend.

Things were a little awkward, but by and large everyone got along. And this morning Ponytail ended up asking if Glasses wanted to go to a movie -- just the two of them! And Glasses thought that sounded fun, which makes me extra happy because now they can get to know each other without everything needing to revolve around me.

I am so happy! I feel like two huge parts of my life are coming together!

I don't really have a question. I just wanted to share. If anyone has words of wisdom, though, I am open to hearing it.

I'm glad to hear that your two guys have met and seem to like each other so far. Continue to take things one day at a time, and keep us posted on this forum if you're willing.

Good stuff.

When my partner first proposed opening up, one of the big things that put me at ease was actually meeting this other fella' (my metamour). We went for a walk just the two of us fairly early on. We get along great 2 years later, have dinner nights with the three of us, etc.
